Jim Casella Series
We have expanded the very popular Jim Casella Series keyboard mallet series with two additional
models. The IP1003X is a heavier version of our existing IP1003, built with extra weight in the
core and an oversized birch handle (11/32” diameter) to provide for a brighter articulation and
extra projection. The IP1008 is a more compact version of our IP1007. Built on durable rattan
handles, the smaller 1 1/4” diameter weighted core is constructed of the same synthetic material,
but the added weight creates a similar sound to the IP1007 but with a smaller diameter core.
These mallets are designed to the specifications of leading marching percussion specialist Jim Casella. This series has been designed to meet the demands of both the indoor and outdoor marching percussion ensemble. This extensive line of specially designed indoor/outdoor mallets, offers the marching percussion ensemble the one most extensive variety of timbres available today.
