Eric Shriver is an active percussion instructor based in the Southern California area, and is the new Percussion Caption Head for Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps. Previously, he was the Snare Tech for Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps from 2009-2012, and the Battery Coordinator/Snare Tech for Pulse Percussion Ensemble from 2009-2012. Currently, he is the Percussion Director at Rowland HS, Monrovia HS, and Alvarado IS, Battery Instructor at Chino HS, and Ensemble Consultant for Pulse & POW Percussion Ensembles.
Eric’s performance experience includes programs such as Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps (Section Leader), Pulse Percussion Ensemble (Section Leader), Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, RCC Marching Band, and Black Knights Indoor Drumline.
Eric graduated from Cal Poly Pomona University with a degree in Music Industry Studies (Business Emphasis).
Eric is proud to be an Innovative Percussion, Remo Inc., and Sabian Educational Artist, and currently lives in Chino Hills, CA.
